The Terma Software Labs team has successfully developed premier job scheduling products that are now in widespread use. Based on ongoing customer contact, the team understands customer needs in the job scheduling arena. The team conceived of products that are an extension to existing mission-critical scheduling software and are designed to address the unmet needs of the Job Management community. Specifically by developing sophisticated products that enable corporations who employ automated job scheduling tools to be able to ascertain historical data and critical paths for any workload processing, and monitor and predict the behavior of their most critical jobstreams.

The team initially prototyped the product and validated the merits of its design with key launch customers. JAWS Insight™ was released in Q1 2004, and JAWS™ v2.0 was released in Q2 2005. Having designed and developed much of the job scheduling software now in use, the team is uniquely well suited to deliver this advance in Job Scheduling.

Terma Software Labs has brought the initial version of JAWS to market with support for CA's Unicenter AutoSys.

Management and Development Team:
Over the past several years, the product team has been responsible for the development, launching, and ultimately the divesting of three highly successful products in the Systems Management space. These include:

1. Computer Associate's Unicenter AutoSys, the market leader for the past 10 years, initially purchased by Platinum technology, inc. in 1995


2. JobVision, a job scheduling modeling and visualization tool that was purchased by Computer Associates in 1999


3. JobSURF, a Web-based interface and real-time monitoring tool for AutoSys that was purchased in 2001 by Computer Associates, and has become the foundation for the 4.x release of AutoSys (Now Unicenter AutoSys 4.5)
