Senior Software Engineer

Terma Software Labs is looking for an enthusiastic, capable Java developer to add to our small, highly effective team. Candidates must have good ideas and the ability to make them reality. Candidates should be comfortable in a collaborative, Agile environment with the following technologies and concepts:

• Java and JVM platform
• Object oriented concepts and design patterns
  •Enterprise databases and SQL
• Multi-platform client/server and web applications (Windows/Linux)

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support new features and products
• Analyze and optimize performance in a complex multi-platform environment

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience building customer facing software products
• Very strong Java language/platform skills
• Computer Science/Engineering degree (or relevant work experience)

Desired Qualifications

• Full life cycle development experience
• GUI development experience such as Swing or AJAX
• Scripting (sh, bash, Python)
