Walter Goodwin, CEO of Terma Software Labs, is also the founder of Stirling Systems Group, LLC, a software development and integration firm specializing in systems management software. Before Stirling, Goodwin was a founding partner of AutoSystems Corporation, Inc., the software enterprise responsible for the creation of AutoSys, the leading workload automation management system for distributed environments. Prior to that, Goodwin held various technical and management positions in software development in industries from systems management to databases, voice recognition, international banking and finance.
Jennifer Chisik has over 20 years experience in the design and development of commercial software applications. She is a founding member of the Terma Software Labs team, and has been involved in all aspects of the design and development of JAWS, Terma's flagship product, since the inception of Terma in 2003. Prior to Terma, Ms. Chisik was instrumental in bringing to market AutoSys/JobVision, a job management modeling and design tool that was acquired by Platinum Technologies in mid-1999. In addition, Ms. Chisik was the co-founder of InfoStructures, Inc., a software development and consulting firm which was responsible for bringing TESTBytes to market. TESTBytes is a test data generation tool for relational databases that was acquired by Logic Works, Inc. She has been the technical lead on a variety of enterprise-level products since the late ‘80s, with a specialization in usability/user interface design.
Garrett Cole is Vice President, Sales & Marketing, responsible for cultivating and maintaining customer partnerships, managing Strategic Alliances with Channel Partners, and building Terma’s business worldwide. Throughout his 10-year career, Garrett has held a number of direct sales, channel sales, and sales management positions. His career started at Miramar Systems, Inc. which culminated in acquisition by CA, Inc. (NASDAQ:CA). While at CA Garrett was part of a North American Sales Enablement Team, focused on driving new sales for the Enterprise Systems Management Business Unit. After spending time with CA, Garrett joined OPNET Technologies (NASDAQ: OPNT) to manage their Strategic Alliance with CA in addition to developing and launching OPNET’s SYNERGY Channel Program. Garrett has a BA from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA.
Moss Prescott joined Terma in late 2004 to help make JAWS' innovative user experience a reality. He now has responsibility for the architecture and implementation of Terma's products, as well as engineering practices, and collaborates with Jennifer on user interaction design.
Moss has been involved in creating class-leading interactive applications since 1990, including Apple’s Finder and the pioneering virtual world WorldsAway, at the time in the process of moving from the CompuServe network to the public internet. At Charles Schwab in 1998 he was a co-creator of VelocityTM, Schwab’s flagship online trading application for active traders, which combined internet and desktop technology to deliver a uniquely secure, responsive, information-rich, and usable environment for managing complex investment portfolios. Meanwhile, after the bubble burst, Moss took a short detour to get a BA in physics at UC Berkeley, then relocated to Boulder and dove back into software with Terma.
